Tahoe Expedition Academy
An independent Pre-K through 8th grade school in Lake Tahoe with a successful Nordic and biathlon program for young skiers.
Founded in 2011, Tahoe Expedition Academy (TEA) is an independent Pre-K through 8th grade school in Lake Tahoe, California. They have a very successful Nordic and biathlon program for young skiers, working with Auburn Ski Club and Glenn Jobe to create a unique program.
Their approach is centered around three guiding principles — academics, character, and adventure — which provide anchor points for all of the work they do with their students. They are proud of these guiding principles, valued equally in their mission to cultivate intellectual growth, character, and confidence.
