Masters skiing is the backbone of Far West Nordic. Encompassing all skiers over the age of 30, masters exemplify our mission of fostering a life-long love of skiing.
While flashy juniors attract most of the spotlight, we look to our masters to provide a constant source of enthusiasm, experience, and support that comprises the core of our Nordic community. Whether you're a racer looking for fun and friendly competition, a parent of a junior looking to keep up, a lifetime skier staying involved, or just starting out for the first time, there's a masters program for you.
Far West Community Training Group
Join our Community Training Group and meet the coaches and masters that make up this region for fun, low-key evening workouts. Sessions are fun and easy and feature coaches and top local athletes, at locations rotating around the area. Check the calendar for dates and locations.
Masters Challenge
Ready to see how you stack up? The Masters Challenge is a season-long series scoring Far West's senior and master racers in age-group and age-handicapped competitions.
