Grants & Scholarships
Far West Nordic offers several grants and scholarships each year, with the goal of providing financial support to the athletes and alumni of the region.
Recipients not only achieve exemplary results — representing Far West and the United States on skiing's world stage — but are exemplary competitors, teammates, and ambassadors of the sport.
Ted Beauchamp Scholarship
This scholarship fund was established by the Beauchamp family and the Far West Nordic Ski Association in memory of Ted Beauchamp, a long-time supporter of cross country skiing and a dedicated member of the Far West Board of Directors. Ted had a deep love for the outdoors and a passion for nordic skiing, coaching many local youths and passing on his love of skiing.
Far West International Fund
The Far West International Fund was created to help athletes achieving at the highest level, and representing our division and US Skiing on the world stage. The fund is open to Far West junior athletes, as well as alumni from the region, who represent the US at the U18 Cup, Junior World Championships, and World Cups in Nordic and biathlon.
